High Calibre Fishing Charters runs deep sea fishing charter trips departing Raby Bay, Cleveland on Moreton Bay. We target the waters off Moreton Island and Stradbroke Island. Our boat is a comfortable 44 foot Mono Hull, a David Jackman boat design, is fitted with Furuno Max Sea 3D System, and cruises at 18/20 knots. She boats full walk around with plenty of seating. While surveyed for 20 Passengers and 2 Crew Offshore, and 30 Passengers and 2 Crew Inshore, we recommended 14-17 anglers to be comfortable.

Fishing charters target a range of species from bottom bash fishing for snapper, pearl perch, jobfish, tuskfish, sweetlip, sampson fish, kingfish and pigfish. And we troll for Sportfish like Tuna, Wahoo, Mackerel.

We fish with Shimano Tekota 800, TLD’s, and Baitrunner’s fitted to custom built Gary Howard mid rods for a quality experience. We only fish with quality Mustad hooks to provide a cleaner hookup and additionally have a wide range of lures on board for trolling. You are welcome to bring your own gear.
