*** BOOKED OUT FOR 2022 & 2023 - ONLY TAKING ENQUIRES FROM 2024 *** The Carlo II hosts fishing charters to the middle and northern areas of the Swain Reefs. Liveaboard fishing charters to the Swains departing Rosslyn Bay on Saturday around 5 - 8pm generally and returning at approx. 5 am the following Saturday. Trips can be tailored to suit your preferences. The Carlo II takes up to 20 guests. The best times are April through to November. Target species include Coral Trout, Sweet Lip, Red Emperor, Jew, Spanish Mackeral and Yellow-fin Tuna. All bait, food and use of our six dories are included. Charges are $2950 per person for 7 nights for up to 20 guests which includes all charges. We take a minimum of 18 persons, taking 18 - 20 guests. If you have for example 10 - 12 persons, we can combine another group with you to make up the number of 18 - 20. For further information feel free to contact us again. *** INCREDIBLE NEW LIVE-ABOARD BOAT *** We are very proud to announce our new boat which has features no other charter can match. The main live-aboard boat "The Carlo II" has an incredible cruise speed of between 11 and 14+ knots. She is 32.2 metres with 8 metre beam and the cabins are all en-suited with shower, toilet and aircon except for two cabins up the front which share a separate shower and toilet. Linens and towels are provided. Two more toilets on main deck as well. The Carlo II is fully air conditioned and fitted with all the mod cons including DVD, CD, TV, Stereo, BBQ, bar, full catering, refrigeration and ice maker. Plenty of freezer space. Cold room for kegs. 68 rod holders and large deck 5 metres by 7 metres. Six Aussie Whalers Dories trail "The Carlo II" enabling guests access into shallow reefs or into estuaries. This helps customers target species such as Coral Trout and Barramundi.

The main vessel allows the group to fish the deeper reefs. The six Aussie Whalers Dories, with built in ice box for drinks and fish, allow the larger group to split up into groups of 3 and opens up new fishing territory. Target species include Coral Trout, Sweet Lip, Red Emperor, Jew, Spanish Mackeral, Yellow-fin Tuna, and many many more. All fish is filleted (unless discussed prior to remain whole), packed and frozen. Our crew divides the fish between the guests so all get an equal share. The bag limit is 40 fish per person for a 7-day charter. For a 10-day it is 60 fish per person allowed. All starter bait is provided, a block of pilchards per boat per session (morning and afternoon). Squid can be provided via prior arrangement. It is BYO fishing gear.

All bait, meals, snacks and use of our six dories are included. Three substantial meals are provided per day and including seafood, steaks, BBQ meals, coffee, tea, snacks and sweets. All linen is supplied. 95% of people use Keppel Security Carpark. It is undercover and secure, they keep your keys, they drop you off and pick you up and it is $80 per vehicle per week. BYO all drinks, preferably cans for beer as we bring all rubbish home. For the alcohol it is BYO with a corkage fee. There’s a discussed option for kegs or beer bottles. Spirit bottles are allowed of course. A walk-in cold room storage is used for the drinks. It is BYO water and soft drinks also. However, we do have potable water onboard - most groups bring a slab of water bottles per person for ease and comfort.
