Princess II operates from HERVEY BAY, QLD, 4655

Offering fishing charters in the protected waters of Hervey Bay inside Fraser Island. Fish on the "Princess II", a 45ft purpose built fishing vessel with full walk around lower deck and on-board amenities. The skipper has more than 25 years of local fishing knowledge. All fishing tackle, bait, bottomless tea/coffee and our famous Rib Fillet BBQ lunch is included. We use Shimano reels and Silstar rods but feel free to BYO. Snacks and drinks for sale on board. BYO alcohol. We specialise in day trips, but also offer overnight charters. Trolling is included when steaming to and from the reefs we fish. Fraser Island protects our fishing grounds from the prevailing wind and swells ensuring a comfortable fishing experience. Pickups are available from Hervey Bay through to Tin Can Bay. We are also licensed for whale watching for up to 30 people. You have the chance of spotting turtles, dugong and an array of birdlife on our trips. Bucks parties and cruise bookings welcome for up to 30 people.

The MV Princess II is a very large, stable 45ft vessel with creature comforts like standard household domestic toilet & washbasin; upper lounge area to kick back & relax; fully equipped galley with urn (not just a thermos) offering complimentary tea & coffee all trip; longest surviving owner/skipper local reef fishing charter operator in the Bay (must be doing something right?!); lower full walk around deck area for ease of playing that "big one". The day will include a delicious rib fillet BBQ lunch with fresh salads on a plate; complementary tea & coffee all trip; use of a Shimano reel & boat rod (for those without their own); hooks, swivels, sinkers & bait. Of course what you catch you keep as long as it's deemed legal &/or fit for human consumption. For passenger convenience we also carry aboard a selection of chocolate bars; potato chips; soft drinks & bottled water for sale at shop prices. Please note we do not provide specialty gear like wire trace; lures & gang hooks however clients are welcome to BYO should they wish to fish this way.

Boarding time is NO LATER THAN 7:00am at Fisherman’s Wharf Marina, 864 Boat Harbour Drive, Urangan, Hervey Bay and returns approximately 3:30pm

Ideally we like to operate everyday but obviously subject to bookings &/or weather. Boarding time is NO LATER THAN 7:00am

Trips

Full day reef fishing charter with trolling. Adults only $230 p.p. Children (3-12yr) $170 p.p. Non Fishing Person $170 p.p. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Overnight reef fishing charter with trolling. Minimum 6 anglers, maximum 10. Total trip time cannot exceed 18 hours. No beds on board. Price on enquiry.
