Departing Cooktown, fishing north of Lizard Island and Princess Charlotte Bay, before steaming back to Cairns to disembark.

In this northern part of the Great Barrier Reef is some of the most untouched, prolific and rewarding fishing spots available. Targeting large species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Long Nose Emperor and Nannygai, you will need heavy tackle to deal with these large fish.

The fishing charter boards at Cooktown on Wednesday, 20th June 2012 around 6pm.

Hinterland Aviation have flights from Cairns to Cooktown arriving at 1735hrs. One way airfares from Cairns range from $125 to $205 per person. Baggage allowance is 20 kilograms. Fishing rods can be a maximum length of 6 foot. There is also a bus service that departs from Cairns to Cooktown at 7am from Bay 16 at the Pier in Cairns.

Disembark from this fishing charter on Monday, 25th June 2012, Sailfish Quay, Cairns Marina after breakfast at 9am.
