Offering extending fishing charters (7-10 days) to Swains Reef etc and shorter duration fishing charters (min. 3 days) to Capricorn Bunker Group etc. The ‘MIKAT’ is a combination of ‘catamaran’ hull design and engine power offer a much shorter time to the off-shore destinations which can be 120 –150 nautical miles from port of Gladstone. Inclusions: * Accommodation includes linen & bath towel * All meals * Tea, Coffee, Milo, Cordials and Snacks * Starter bait provided & fresh bait prepared. Bring your own: * Personal Fishing Equipment * Swimming /Snorkelling gear * Travel Insurance * Catch cleaned, packaged & frozen * Assistance with rigs etc. * Sunscreen.

Trips

Extended stays fishing (7-10 days) for the dedicated fisherman. Minimum 12 anglers. The 7 day trip departs Saturday evening and returns early the next Saturday morning.

Target Species: Just about every variety of reef fish, but mainly targeting the famous coral trout , red throat sweetlip and red emperor.

Shorter duration trips (min. 3 days). Excellent reef fishing. Extends the opportunity for a much more combinations of fishing, snorkelling and island walks with very sheltered anchorages.

Target Locations: Southern end of the Great Barrier Reef which is our local ‘Capricorn Bunker Group’ which extends from ‘Lady Musgrave Island’ through to ‘North West Island’ a distance of some 100 km.
Target Species: Excellent range of reef species.
