*** This charter is no longer operating *** Bite Me Marlin Charters is well-established family run business offering you the chance to fish for 1000lb Giant Black Marlin out on the beautiful ribbon reefs off Cairns. Liveaboard Marlin trips are available each year from September to December aboard our 40' Black Watch boat called the “Amphibious Raids”.
“Amphibious Raids” accommodates up to 6 anglers on liveaboard trips and boasts twin cummins 430hp engines with a cruise speed of 19-20 knots. She also boasts a 7 kva gen set, air conditioned cabins, water maker, toilet and shower with instant hot water.
We offer liveaboard packages to maximise your fishing time for up to three people up to a maximum of three days per trip. Back to back trips can be arranged. Additionally to fishing for large Black Marlin, we also target Spanish Mackerel, Scaly Mackerel, Scad and Tuna species. We stop for a quick pop for Giant Trevally, and some bottom bashing to target reef species for dinner. We anchor behind the reefs at night in the calm lagoons where you can have a few cold ones and rest your arms. In the morning we have a quick snorkel around the reefs to relax before breakfast. Then it’s back into another big day of fishing.

Review: We have had many great days out fishing with scotty , whether we were doing a Marlin trip or Reef fishing days he put us on the fish , and he does not skimp on the fishing gear either, all top PENN reels and quality rods down to the swivels all quality..... excellent service .... in 2013 we did three trips ( would have done more but that's the weather for you )
