Cairns to Lizard Island; September to December, Giant Black Marlin season including a host of other fishing options from casting poppers at GT's to bottom bouncing. Port Stephens; December to April, Heavy tackle, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Dolphin Fish (Mahi Mahi) and other species North Queensland Coast; Generally on the way up to Cairns in the Whitsundays Townsville region light tackle fishing including Hamilton Island and Townsville tournaments.
